Everything you need to know about your membership, your benefits, your income opportunities, and your growth pathway within the Mayine ecosystem.
Your annual commitment to the Mayine ecosystem is structured across two separate invoices. Both must be current for your Licensed Associate status to remain active.
Grants the right to use the Nomveliso Mbanga Teencoaching™ trademark, your certified practitioner title (CIAT™, ICA™, or CIPC™), and delivery rights in your practice and all marketing.
Grants access to supervision infrastructure, the coaching plan library, methodology updates, directory listing, masterclasses, and the MaGICA™ community.
The trademark licence gives you the right to use the name. The membership fee gives you access to the infrastructure that makes using the name worthwhile. One without the other is incomplete. Both are reviewed at the Annual Practitioners' Retreat.
Choose the tier that reflects where your practice is now. Tiers can be upgraded at annual renewal. Current rates are founding cohort pricing for 2026. Full pricing will be presented at the Annual Practitioners' Retreat.
All fees are reviewed annually and increases communicated at the Annual Practitioners' Retreat. Current rates are founding cohort pricing and will not hold indefinitely.
Your membership is not a passive subscription. It is an active professional commitment. By signing as a Licensed Associate, you confirm that you uphold each of the following.
Being a Licensed Associate does not restrict your ability to build your own private coaching practice. You are free to source, sign, and charge your own clients independently. The Mayine referral model applies only to clients who come through Mayine. The two streams are entirely separate.
Clients you source yourself through your own marketing, network, and visibility are your private clients. You charge them your own rate — R1,200 per session — and keep 100% of that income. Mayine has no claim on clients you bring in independently. Your membership supports and elevates your practice. It does not contain it.
| Stream | Client source | Rate charged | You keep | Mayine receives |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Your private practice | Your own marketing, referrals, network | R1,200/session | R1,200 (100%) | Nothing |
| Mayine business referral | Enquiry comes through Mayine | R2,500/session | R1,500 (60%) | R1,000 (40%) |
When Mayine receives a 1-on-1 enquiry and the founder's roster is full, that client is referred to a Licensed Associate at the Mayine business rate of R2,500 per session.
| Element | Detail |
|---|---|
| Why R1,500 from a referral beats R1,200 from your own client | You earn R300 more per session from every Mayine referral than from a self-sourced client — without spending any time on marketing or intake. The referral infrastructure is the value. |
| How referrals are managed | All enquiries come through Mayine. Penny handles intake, matching, and scheduling. The bookkeeper tracks and invoices the split. |
| Who is eligible | All Licensed Associates at Tier 1, 2, and 3. Priority matching goes to Tier 2 and Tier 3 members first. |
A healthy practice combines both streams. Your own 5 private clients at R1,200 = R6,000/month. Plus 5 Mayine referral sessions at R1,500 = R7,500/month. Combined: R13,500/month from 1-on-1 coaching alone — before retreats, group work, or any other income.
As a Licensed Associate, you are the first and priority option for regional retreat licensing. Before any external coach is considered, Mayine looks within the Licensed Associate network first. One licence per province — protecting your investment and creating genuine exclusivity in your region.

As a Licensed Associate, you are authorised to formally adopt schools in your region as part of the Mayine ecosystem. This is not informal school visits or motivational speaking. It is a structured, ongoing coaching presence inside a school — the Teencoaching-in-Residence™ programme — delivered under the Mayine methodology and brand.
School-based coaching hours count towards your Regional Principal™ eligibility under Institutional Delivery. A school relationship also creates a steady pipeline of 1-on-1 coaching clients — teenagers who experience you in a group or talk setting and want more.
The Teencoaching-in-Residence™ programme is a blend of three delivery modes, tailored to the school's context and budget.
| Delivery mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Talks & Assemblies | Structured, non-motivational talks delivered to grades or the full school. These are not pep talks — they are baNtu-rooted identity and development conversations that leave teenagers thinking differently about themselves. Specific training is required before associates deliver school talks independently. |
| Small Group Coaching | Grade-based or need-based group coaching sessions run within the school. 8–15 students per group. Session frequency agreed with the school as part of the retainer. |
| 1-on-1 Coaching | Individual sessions for teenagers identified by the school or self-referred. These may be parent-funded separately from the school retainer, or included in a premium school package. |
The full Teencoaching-in-Residence™ fee structure is currently being finalised by Mayine. The preferred model is a monthly school retainer. Indicative range below — subject to confirmation.
| Element | Detail |
|---|---|
| Preferred model | Monthly retainer paid by the school, covering a defined mix of talks, group sessions, and 1-on-1 availability per term |
| Indicative retainer range | R7,000–R9,000 per month per school — to be confirmed once programme architecture is finalised |
| Parent-pay option | The school hosts the programme and Mayine coaches deliver it, but individual 1-on-1 sessions may be billed directly to parents at an agreed rate |
| Revenue split (school retainer) | 60% to the Licensed Associate / 40% to Mayine — same model as 1-on-1 business referrals |
| Revenue split (parent-pay sessions) | To be confirmed — likely same 60/40 split when the school relationship came through Mayine |
School dynamics are fundamentally different from private coaching or retreat settings. Teenagers who know each other, peer group dynamics, institutional authority structures, and the complexity of group cohesion in a school context all require specific preparation. Mayine will provide a dedicated school delivery training module before any Licensed Associate delivers independently in a school. Details to follow.
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Identify a school in your region you have a relationship with or want to approach |
| 2 | Contact Penny to register the school — Mayine keeps a record of which associate holds which school relationship |
| 3 | Mayine provides the school introduction pack and proposal template — you do not approach schools with your own materials |
| 4 | Complete the school delivery training module before beginning any programme (details communicated to all associates once available) |
| 5 | Programme begins under the Teencoaching-in-Residence™ brand with a signed agreement between the school and Mayine Development Institute |

Your Licensed Associate membership is not a ceiling — it is a foundation. As you grow your practice and demonstrate sustained excellence, two leadership roles become available to you.
Both leadership roles are appointed solely by Nomveliso Mbanga. There is no voting system and no automatic progression based on seniority. Meeting the criteria makes you eligible. Appointment reflects professional maturity, ethical conduct, and brand ambassadorship. These are not titles pursued — they are designations earned.
600 hours must span all four delivery types. All four types must be represented across the three qualifying years.
| Delivery type | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-on-1 Coaching | Individual teen, young adult, or parent coaching sessions |
| Group Coaching | Teen group coaching, circle facilitation, or group parent work |
| Retreat Facilitation | Pastoral support placements and independent retreat delivery |
| Institutional Delivery | School-based programmes, corporate youth work, or community settings |
